General Terms and Conditions
These general terms and conditions apply to every offer by Spanjeole and to every contract concluded through our webshop www.spanjeole.nl.

2. Applicability
These terms apply to all offers and contracts made through our webshop. Before the contract is concluded, they are available on the website and can be saved or printed. In addition, our Returns Policy, Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy apply.
3. The offer
Our offer contains a complete and accurate description of the products, including relevant information such as ingredients and allergens for food items. Images are a true representation; minor variations in appearance or weight are possible with artisanal products and do not entitle you to compensation or termination.
Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer, such as clear typing errors in prices, do not bind Spanjeole. In that case we will contact you and you may cancel the order free of charge with a full refund.
4. The contract
The contract is concluded when you place the order and we confirm it by email. As long as receipt of the order has not been confirmed, you may terminate the contract.
5. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you have a 14-day cooling-off period for non-perishable, unopened products. Perishable products and sealed products whose seal has been broken are excluded. The full arrangement, including the model withdrawal form, can be found in our Returns Policy.
6. Prices
All prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are clearly stated before completing the order. During the validity period stated in the offer, prices will not be increased, except for changes resulting from VAT rate modifications.
7. Payment
Payment is possible via the methods offered on the website, including iDEAL/Wero, card and Klarna. When paying with Klarna, Klarna’s terms additionally apply; Klarna may perform a credit check. Orders are processed after receipt of payment or approval by the payment provider.
8. Delivery
We deliver throughout the Netherlands, usually within 1–3 working days after order confirmation. Delivery times stated on the website are indicative; exceeding them does not entitle you to compensation, but if delivery becomes permanently impossible, we will refund the full amount. The risk of damage or loss of products lies with Spanjeole until the moment of delivery at the specified address.
If a product is temporarily unavailable, we will contact you within 2 working days to offer an alternative, later delivery or a refund.
9. Sale of alcohol (18+)
Under Dutch law (NIX18), we only sell alcoholic beverages to persons aged 18 or over. By placing an order containing alcohol you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. Proof of identity may be requested upon delivery; if age cannot be verified, the delivery will be refused.
We guarantee that the products comply with the contract, the stated specifications and legal requirements (legal guarantee). For food items, the indicated best-before or use-by date applies. Complaints about the quality of perishable products must be reported within 24 hours of receipt, preferably with a photo; see our Returns Policy.
Complaints can be sent to contact@spanjeole.nl. We respond within 2 working days and aim to find a solution within 14 days. If we cannot reach an agreement, you can seek free advice from ConsuWijzer (ACM) or submit your complaint via the European ODR platform.
12. Applicable law
All contracts are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent Dutch court, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence within the EU.
13. Changes
We may amend these terms. Orders in progress remain subject to the terms in force at the time of ordering. The current version will always be available on this page.
